再びソリューションショーケースの紹介に戻ります。MicroStrategies社のDocument and Forms Workflowです。あまりマーケティングを意識した名前ではなく、ただ実現したシステムそのものを表現する呼び名のようですね。
FAXサーバと連携してFAXを受けとったり、メールへの添付というかたちで文書を受けとった後で、リポジトリに格納し、ワークフローを起動するというオーソドックスなソリューションです。Interwoven TeamSite上などで動作していた同社のMSI ProfilerのGUIを使って操作を行うことができるようです。
また、PDFフォームをインプットとして自動的に入力フォームを作る機能なども用意されているようです。
FAXサーバ連携と、ワークフロー機能と統合されたダッシュボードが特徴であるように見えます。
